I am a trained Physical Education, Health & Special Education Teacher. Bachelor of Education- University of Canberra- 1998 Diploma in Teaching- Australian College of Physical Education- Sydney, 1979. WORKING IN THE CANBERRA AREA ONLY Available for Lessons- weekends, some weekdays & afternoons. On your horse (at your place-will travel-slightly extra cost)- OR regain your riding confidence with me- or just have some fun on an escorted ride. as an EFA Introductory Coach- I am able to coach- walk trot, canter, ( prelimiminary & novice dressage skills) all basic horsemanship & lungeing, do escorted trail rides. (catering to one rider only) I also enjoy incorporating some aspects of natural horsemanship, but using quicker methods, so we can get on and enjoy riding. Lessons for individuals or groups with their own horses at your facility. All standards to Novice Dressage. Flatwork only & trot poles. I enjoy teaching nervous riders and people returning to riding after a time away from horses or anyone in need of a good experience to regain, refresh or learn new skills. No issue is ever to hard to solve- as patience is my virtue. Coaching is my hobby- I am also a trained PE & Special Education High School teacher. I generally do not show or compete in recent years, as I prefer a less stressful life, but I have been known to enjoy smaller hack shows especially on my appaloosa. I get SPOTTED very easily. I have owned and educated him since 1998 when he was just turning 5 years old. He was western trained, but I do not ride western and have always ridden him as an allrounder, I completed all of my EFA General Riding Certificate on him as a young horse 1998- 2001 as I was educating him.
